Now in days gone by, there have been pictures and stories and knowledge of people using — or apparently using, hmm? — crystals to help others to feel better. But crystals, especially when used in the hands of one traditionally trained, are really a bit of a disguise. Many people feel the need, when undergoing what is essentially a mystical experience, to see something of beauty that apparently has something to do with why you feel better when it’s over. This is not necessary usually for your feeling better, but for many people, it is a comfort, especially if the person doing the healing is an elder. And while photographers and artists like to show the beauty of the wisdom traces in the faces and bodies of elders, younger people as well as many others do not always see that and might feel nervous, upset, or even frightened.
