Beloved students, we are moving very quickly into a new calendar year. While this is, of course, stating the obvious at this point, something quite intriguing is already underway. The energy field of 2012 arrived on planet Earth back in September. That means you have already entered 2012, or its energy, even though the actual calendar event is not due for roughly another month. The coming year certainly holds amazing transformative potential at nearly every level of experiencing. Thus I congratulate each of you for the safe navigation into another year, calendar dates notwithstanding.

The years 2011 and 2012 will likely come to be viewed a bit like twins, as you will note from the teaching that follows. Yet I believe the picture is even bigger—at least for those of you who are able to hold the larger perspective. At some future point in time, you will likely look back on 2011 and 2012. In your recollection of these years, however, they will probably appear quite different than they do as you now observe them. Indeed, to fully understand 2011 and 2012, you will need the perspective of 2013—a perspective that has, of course, not yet developed.

At that later point of reflection, there is a very strong probability that you will view the years of 2011, 2012, and 2013 as a kind of transformational trilogy. Like most of you, those of us on the spiritual plane now supporting Earth hold forth for the kind of transformation that will be deemed positive. Yet we must also hold awareness of the possibility for transformation to play out through some less desirable forces and factors. In some instances, the forces for change might even be deemed destructive, perhaps even sinister. Beyond the realm of what we might prefer, there lies the hinterland of what will occur. Like it or not, this is simply the nature of transformation.
