The Crucial Lessons We Need to Learn
With all the calamities that have been occurring on the planet, what are the lessons that we can learn about life and ourselves?
We usually take our life on this planet for granted. When something dramatic happens, it forces us to reevaluate the reason we are here and why we do what we do. Calamities, illness, and death are the greatest awakeners. They shake us up and take us out of our illusion of separation. Calamities and hardships give us opportunities to grow and realize that life is temporary and love is the most important thing in life.
Unfortunately, because we are slow in learning our life lessons, existence throws more challenging situations our way to force us to awaken and reevaluate the way we live our lives. Within each change hides a blessing. The main lesson behind natural calamities and the crumbling global economy is for us to realize that the nature of life is a flux and nothing here is, nor can it ever be, permanent.
