We received a question about the difficulties people confront at the end of life. [Author’s note: This question was about detoxifying the body from deuterium, also called heavy hydrogen. Deuterium is an isotope of hydrogen with a nucleus of one proton and one neutron, which is double the mass of the ordinary hydrogen nucleus.] We so often focus on assumptions about health and disease that turn out, in the long run, to be incorrect. In the short run, they seem to give some benefits and put money into the pockets of those who sell medications, treatments, and various nostrums or supplements. Any of these questions could be answered in a specific way, but one must always ask: Did it help? Did it make you feel better? Did it work for you?
