We live in Maynooth, Ontario, Canada. My family just received a cat that had shown up at a community member’s house. Through Facebook and Home Again networks, they tried to find the cat’s person/ people, because it was clearly a pet at some point. They didn’t find anyone. The cat is quite skinny and has likely been lost or outside for a while. The folks who brought him said they think he’s a neutered male.

We are excited and also nervous for many reasons. We’ve never had a pet before as a family, and our small dead end street has many cats, and we want him to fit in. We would like to learn more about him, such as where he came from and what his physical and emotional needs are so that we can blend as a family.
