The Role of Family in Your Life
The Role of Family in Your Life Amma through Cathy Chapman
Good day to you, dear ones. I am Amma, the Divine Mother of the divine mothers, and I am so much your mother. You are within my womb. You have grown within my womb, and you continue to be within my womb. You are surrounded by the nourishment of my love.
We are going to talk about family and the role of family in your lives. You were born into a family for a reason. Now, some of you might not have been born into the family that became your family. I’m talking about those of you who were adopted or lived in foster care as well as those of you who grew up in your biological family. As you grew and developed, you left home and eventually discovered your family — the group of people who gave you nourishment, supported you with their love, and acknowledge you: “Yes, this is who you are, and we support you in who you are. In fact, we love you so much that you can change. We love you as you change. We love you with each change you go through.” Those people are your true family, are they not?
