Together We Grow to See the Light
Together We Grow to See the Light Master Djwhal Khul through Kathlyn Kingdon
Beloved students, I greet you once again as planet Earth races toward the summer solstice in her Northern Hemisphere and the winter solstice in her Southern Hemisphere. What an amazing process this is! As you behold Earth's hemispheric balance, what do you most appreciate? How does the beauty of this natural balance strike you? As half the globe experiences spring, the other half experiences autumn.
Now, while you may reproach me with a chastising "I know that!" remark, I invite you to go deeper. How does your knowledge of this natural balance benefit you and others? You see, knowledge is the key that unlocks the door to liberation. That said, you would need more than knowledge to rend veils of illusion. Wisdom is required if you are to rightly discern the path, the traveler on the path, and the destination of the path.
Have you considered how your understanding of the planet hanging in space differs according to the hemisphere in which you dwell? If I asked all of you to envision yourselves as the imaginary axis that runs through the planet, exiting at both poles, how might you describe the mental image you encountered? If you are living in the Northern Hemisphere, you will likely say that the upper half of your body corresponds to the Northern Hemisphere, and the lower half of your body corresponds to the Southern Hemisphere. Of course, if you live in the Southern Hemisphere, you would most likely say that the upper half of your body corresponds to the Southern Hemisphere and the lower half to the Northern Hemisphere.
