Liz: Shy, a rescue, turned fourteen in December. I’ve had him since July 2009. He has seemingly every medical issue, including allergies (we are not sure to what), skin cancer, and a heart murmur. He’s on a lot of medications, for anxiety, itchiness, thyroid, inflammation, pain (his hind limbs are very sore), heart problems, and nausea.

My vets are wonderful people who try to not overmedicate, but Shy is a genetic disaster. Last week, I thought I would have to euthanize him, but my vet gave him an antinausea medication that turned things around by reducing his pain. I’d like to know how he’s doing and what he wants.
