My love surrounds you, my precious ones. I am Amma, the divine mother of the divine mothers, and I am your mother. I can’t begin to tell you how much joy I experience when I say those words to you, when you read those words. I am not talking about the words saying who I am as the divine mother. I’m referring to the words, “I am your mother.” Those words give me the greatest joy.

You parents who joyfully awaited the birth of your children know of the bliss of having your precious ones growing and developing within you. I experienced joy knowing you, and I mean that you specifically were growing within me, soon to explode from the oneness as an individual soul. No, I did not experience the discomfort many women experience as their children grow. I did not experience the pain of childbirth, so my description is the best analogy I can give for your birth.

Recall a time when you were blissfully delighted to be in someone’s presence. Perhaps it was when you looked in wonder at the newborn child in your arms. It could have been when you realized that you dearly loved someone who had come into your life. Get in touch with the feeling of joy and love you had at that time. Do you feel it? Now double that feeling. Feel twice as much love, bliss, and joy. Isn’t that an amazing feeling? Now double the feeling again. Can you do it? Are you able to increase exponentially the amount of joy that you felt with this new life, that you felt with this person in your life? Can you double it again?
