The socially conditioned parent is locked behind the prison bars of belief systems. The exceptional cannot take wing within conformity. If we have spent our lives bound by the worldviews of others, let us pause and consider whether we wish to subject our children to the same—whether we would ask them to conform to the madness of the world and call it sanity. If not, our children may be our liberation and salvation, the ones who will allow us to claim for ourselves as well as for them the priceless gift of freedom from societal bondage.

The great fear of parents is that they might make mistakes that could irrevocably damage their children. Driven by self-doubt, they override their parental instincts in favor of outside authority figures. Life supports the raising of the young, as evidenced throughout nature. Why would it be any different for human beings? All we have to do is listen to our instincts and our children.
