I see a vision of tall prairie grass swaying in the wind. I feel the breeze on my face, cleansing and clearing my muddled mind. As I walk, I breathe in the blue sky, the grass, and the sweet nectar of Mother Earth. I notice a huge white buffalo standing on the landscape. I walk toward the buffalo and stand in awe. As I gaze at this magnificent animal, I notice a radiance emanating from it, and she transforms into a brilliant white light and then shape-shifts into a woman. There on the prairie landscape stood White Buffalo Calf Woman.

Welcome, children of Earth! It is with hope and love I come forth to you this day. Your Mother Earth needs you, sweet ones. She needs your love, courage, strength, and hope. She is your first mother, your cosmic mother, and she has always provided the food you eat, the clothes you wear, and the homes you live in. This is true whether you live in the Amazon jungle or the biggest cities. Mother Earth is your home, your benefactor.

You chose to come to this planet as a spirit, and you brought with you your capacity for infinite love, strength, and magnificence. In turn, you have been cradled with unconditional love and beauty from your Earth Mother.
