Young People Ask: How to Know the Difference between Being Highly Perceptive and Being Sensitive
Young People Ask: How to Know the Difference between Being Highly Perceptive and Being Sensitive Diogenes through Robert Shapiro
Diogenes.
You were physical?
Yes, but I am beyond that now.
People talk about the awakening or emergence of a new kind of human — empathic, energy sensitive, and so on — which has led to a sense of camaraderie instead of what would otherwise feel like isolation or, to put it simply, being strange. One thing I do not hear about is how to energetically operate as a highly sensitive person in a world that is not necessarily all like that. How do you manage what energies you let in? How do you interact with people who are not as sensitive without taking on things you don’t want to?
If you practice in the following way, you will someday be highly perceptive and know the difference between being highly perceptive and being sensitive. That’s the key. When you’re highly perceptive, you use all your physical senses as well as your spiritual awareness. So practice not only developing your spiritual awareness in whatever way appeals to you (and there are many choices) but also, at the same time, using your physical senses.
